Cursor Ultra plan: price, usage and what's included

Updated 2026-10-18. From Cursor's official pricing page.

Quick answer

Cursor Ultra costs $200 a month and gives 50x the usage of Plus, from one weekly pool shared across Cursor and Grok. It includes everything in Super ($100, 15x) plus earliest access to new products and models. Third-party models such as Claude or GPT are not in the pool: Cursor bills them separately at API list price.

Super$10015x$6.67Adds priority model access at peak times
Ultra$20050x$4.00Adds earliest access to all products and models

From Cursor's pricing page, checked 2026-10-18. Per 1x = monthly price divided by the usage multiplier. Prices exclude tax. All paid plans refresh weekly.

What Cursor Ultra includes

  • 50x Plus usage, refreshed weekly. Premium is 4x and Super is 15x.
  • Cursor: Agent, cloud agents and automations, code hosting via Origin, and AI code reviews via Bugbot.
  • Grok: Chat, Imagine image and video generation, Grok Build, Grok Bot, and Grok API access (API calls are billed separately at standard rates).
  • Priority model access at peak times (from Super) and earliest access to all products and models (Ultra only).
  • X features: the same subscription includes the Premium checkmark and ad-free scrolling on most surfaces.

How Ultra usage works

Every tier has a pool of AI usage shared across Cursor and Grok, and the cost of each request depends on the product and model. The allowance refreshes weekly, so one heavy day does not burn the whole month. If you run out, you can buy top-offs or wait for the refresh. Remaining usage shows in settings. Hit the Cursor limit? covers what to do.

Ultra vs Super vs Premium

  • Ultra vs Super: twice the price ($200 vs $100) for 3.3x the usage (50x vs 15x), so each unit costs $4.00 instead of $6.67. Worth it only if you hit the Super cap most weeks.
  • Ultra vs Premium: $30 buys 4x Plus. Ultra is 12.5x the usage of Premium for about 6.7x the price.
  • Pro and Pro+: Cursor's current pricing page has no Pro or Pro+ tier. The paid plans are Plus, Premium, Super and Ultra, plus Teams from $30 per user.

Who should buy Ultra

Cursor recommends Ultra for power users, Super for daily agent users and Premium for new AI users. If you mostly use Claude or GPT models inside Cursor, remember those are billed on top of the plan, so a bigger pool helps less. For heavy Claude use, compare Cursor Ultra vs Claude Max 20x and the other $200 AI plans.
